How Your Care Plan Works
Every resident’s care plan starts with an individual assessment, not a fixed tier. We check in after one week, at 30 days, and every 90 days after that, or any time something changes. If a resident’s needs shift, up or down, the care plan adjusts right along with them. It’s a relationship, not a one time decision.
When Care Needs Grow
Care needs can change, and Arcadia is built for that. If a resident ever needs more support than assisted living provides, whether that’s a Hoyer lift, two person transfers, or wound care, our Enhanced Care program continues right here at Lookout Ridge. No searching for a new place, no starting over somewhere unfamiliar.
And for families who need a short term break or a trial stay first, our Respite Care program offers that same personalized attention on a temporary basis.
Living Well with Mild Memory Loss
Many of our residents live here with mild memory loss, and they do so safely and well. Knowing each resident’s story, building a comforting daily routine, and creating a secure environment is often exactly what helps someone with mild memory loss thrive.
Arcadia Lookout Ridge is not a secure memory care community, so for residents whose memory loss includes behaviors like wandering, exit seeking, or aggression, we are honest that we may not be the right fit. But for the many residents without those behaviors, our attentive team and engaging activities, from garden visits to those Columbia Gorge views, create a genuinely supportive home.
